NanoQUAD™

The NanoQUAD™ system can effectively cryo-mill 50+ kg/hr of unprocessed powders creating particles that are suitable for a variety of purposes. This process offers a safe, efficient way to manufacture formulations that exhibit rapid dissolution rates, increased oral bioavailability, more rapid absorption of active drug substances, while minimizing fed-fasted effects.

The nanoparticles are typically less than 1000 nanometers in diameter. They are stabilized against agglomeration by surface adsorption of selected GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) stabilizers. The result is a dispersible powder of the drug substance with dramatically improved dispersion and absorption properties, which can be processed into finished dosage forms for various routes of administration.
